About UsThe Centre’s Chairman is Sir Michael Latham, author of the landmark industry report ‘Constructing the Team’. Working alongside Sir Michael, CWC’s Executive Board comprises construction industry and supply chain professionals. Together they have gained knowledge and experience by being actively involved in the construction industry’s pathfinder initiatives and projects. These include initiatives such as the Rethinking Construction Report, Building Down Barriers, Prime Contracting, Housing Forum’s working groups, publications on Partnering and Integrated Supply Chains and, in the latest Egan initiative, the Strategic Forum. CWC includes a team of over fifty specialist consultants and associates supporting the overall delivery of projects. The CWC mission is: “To provide consultancy in strategy, commercial, performance improvement and other services to support the development and implementation of ‘collaborative working’ in the UK construction industry.” The CWC approach is to deliver problem solving and practical solutions to issues faced by its Clients. We use process improvement tools and techniques to reduce costs and improve value. This approach requires a drive to achieve a detailed understanding of each Client’s requirements and a genuine commitment to deliver real value improvements. |
